Where Are You?

Where are you?

At home?

At work?

Running errands?

At appointments?

After providing homemade lunches and sometimes dinners, too, my husband and I discovered that we had a certain amount of time not to be anywhere in particular.

We could go to the library or

an internet cafe.

Those are our defaults since we live off-grid down in a hollow and do not have cell phone service or internet.

We have also discovered that we can do our reading in parks and bookstores.

I can do m sewing at quilt shops and knitting on Stitch Nights in several locations.

The main thing about where we are is the feeling calm and peace and happiness.

That feeling describes where we are most of the time.

Practicing My Part

The Universe is providing everything that I need or want.

If it is not happening now, it is not time for it to happen.

The wonderful things that are provided for me are happening in the vast timetable of the Universe.

While I am here, in this place, at this time, I can contemplate the power of that fact.

Faith and Trust in this much larger timetable are key.

Our individual place and purpose is part of our identity.

It does not depend of whims, or opinions, or business plans.

Whatever is right and best simply occurs in the right and best time and place.

I cannot possibly know how everything fits together in the Larger Plan.

I can keep carrying out my part is seeking and finding and practicing the unlimited spiritual facts as they come to me.

Apparently, that is all that is required.

Realm of The Divine - 14

Quilters Are Doers

I visited a wonderful quilt shop today, Quilt Country in Lewisville, TX for the Wednesday “Sit and Sew”.  When I got there, it was crammed full of quilters, sewing machines and fabric.

Since I needed a place to pin-baste my quilt, one of the workers had someone clear off a table in the bosses office for me to use.

I felt very taken care of.

Later in the morning, one of the ladies was able to move into a smaller spot, and I was able to move into the more visible area where I could visit with the other ladies as I pinned my quilt.

In our chatting, we agreed that quilt shops are such happy places.

There are beautiful colorful fabrics with amazing quilts samples hanging on the wall.

The artists who design the fabric create so much beauty and harmony.

One person shared that she and a friend were setting up their booth with the help of a friend who is a clinical psychologist.  The psychologist  noted how happy all the quilters were who were visiting the booth.  It was like a different world for him.

Quilters are also doers.

The number of quilts given in service to help support women’s shelters, child advocacy, dresses for little girls in Africa is astounding.

The giving and doing attitude taking place in such uplifting surroundings with the contributions of fabric designers, pattern creators and classes creates great community.

People share ideas and help refine their skills.

Even when someone is dealing with a personal situation, there is lots of experience and support  in a group of women which includes moms, grandmothers and great-grandmothers.

Imagine working in a place that feels so good, creating beautiful things all the time.

Realm of the Divine - 13

Becoming More Productive

I am learning that I never have to worry about what someone else is doing or not doing because I can always work on improving myself.

I can come up with productive things to do under any circumstances.

I am always investing my thought-wealth and taking action on the projects that come to mind.

This is a new forward-moving way of living my life.

Now that I know I am responsible for all aspects of my life and I have gained more powerful techniques to keep me uplifted, I am enjoying watching the results and experiencing the fruits of this approach.

How I am approaching a really big project: I am gaining more information about improving our land through reading and videos.

I am figuring out how to increase my income in order to pay for the projects I want to do on our land.

I am doing layouts for my webpage as I make the products.

I am figuring out how to have access to my studio to make the products when we travel.

This lets me go with the flow of our new lives in retirement and remain engaged in doing work i love.

Having learned that I can take control to live more happily, I am taking the actions to insure that I do.
