A Story That Works

One day as I was meditating, I realized that nothing I could do would change the story for someone else.

The story has to be changed by the person telling it.

If you are telling yourself a certain kind of story, your life will have a certain kind of path.

If you change the story, the path will change.

It is as simple as that.

Why you believe the story is not as simple.

But it can still be changed.

Decide on a direction you really want to go.

Don’t hold back.

Describe it in detail to yourself every time your think about it.

Think of all the reasons why you want it.

Embellish the picture.

Then when it is as full as you can make it, keep enjoying it.

When you hold to this consistent enjoyable  plan, you will start to see it take shape.

It is not something you do for yourself, although it is a gift you give yourself.

Keep doing your part and the Universe will do the rest.

Perfect Fulfillment

From angles to flow.

That is the image that comes to my mind.

Instead of bouncing off angles, I find a strong and gentle flow carrying and supporting me.

I am connected to the best alternatives.

I am held by consummate knowledge and practices.

I am supported with  confidence and encouragement by the right motivations.

These goals go beyond myself.

They reach out to all who are in need.

The answers are always through honesty and generosity.

Long-term problems can be solved by looking at the deep origins.

Workable solutions address the deep origins and adjust the outcome.

Long-held wrong beliefs are corrected and different uplifting action results .

Resources come in different ways when the actual problem is addressed.

Flows are created where sharply angled walls once stood.

The first walls which have to come down are the ones we believe.

Then good, equitable, fair, right action can take place.

From Compassion to Wholeness

True government moves us from compassion to wholeness.

As a government what are the compassionate things we can do to enable others to move themselves to wholeness?

A government which respects and loves its people works best in this way.

What is the self-concept embedded in the governing philosophy?

How does that result in training and education?

How does that impact how people can take care of themselves?

In any family, the goal is to give, give, the child what it needs in order to become self-sufficient.

A self-concept which includes love and support, followed by  good manners, skills, and training.

Within the community, continuing respect for all the members helps identify what is needed to help the ones who are struggling the most to bring themselves up to a better standard.

This strengthens and uplifts the community.

Each expanded level of government can proceed in this way, so that we have a world built on compassion which moves everyone to wholeness.

Imagine what it would feel like to live in such a world.

New Growth and Awareness

What do you have to contribute today?

Your view of the world shapes how you live your day.

Are you in pain or do you know someone who is?

Is there anything you can do to help, a visit, some reassurance, some practical support?

Is your city in pain?

Is there something you can do to help?

Volunteer, support city laws and ordinances, participate in counseling or education?

Is your nation in pain?

Is there something you can do to help?

Let your voice be heard through contacting your congressional representatives, by becoming more informed on the issues?

Let your awareness be expanded.

Do not shy away from the current discomfort.

It is stirring up change for the better.

Looking and seeing how current affairs affect everyone is healthy.

This allows for new growth and new direction.

Return to Center

Despite being upset, it is always possible to return to your own true center.

The balance can be startling and last for a time, but the true center emerges.

I am grateful for my many new and useful calming tools to help me focus on where I want to be and what I want to feel.

Someone else’s viewpoint, as much as I would like to embrace them in my world, has nothing to do with me.

I certainly cannot control the perceptions of others.

I can always return to my true center and be the person I love and enjoy.

I am grateful to surround myself with gracious and raucous friends with genuine feelings of fun and support.

I am grateful to surround myself with materials and tools for creativity and beauty.

Providing the space to do what I love is having more far-reaching effects than I ever imagined.

I appreciate this activity more and more every day.

I love how doing what I love puts me in touch with people who appreciate who I am.

Anyone who has a desire to see me in my true light always has that opportunity.

I am not responsible for the view from without.

I know who I am from within and I love me.

Attuning to Perfection

There are many perfections in Nature and they are all different.

Even on one plant, there are individual variations of leaves and they all function perfectly to catch sunlight.

We can tune into our own individual perfection and see it in all its variety in each person.

That is how friendships and strong communities are built.

The beauty of our own perfection is that it is so natural.

We do not have to reshape ourselves into something which feels different from who we are.

We can begin and continue with the ideas which make us feel whole.

They fit with others who also have discovered their perfection and wholeness.

Communities built on perfection and wholeness uplift and include everyone.

As everyone finds that they are accepted and acceptable for the gifts of their own individuality, they are able to enrich the community even more by their presence.

It is comfortable and comforting to begin with your own perfection.

Then you can increase your skill in doing what you love, because you have chosen the perfect thing to do.

With the central guideline for your community being to trust your perfection, you will naturally find a good fit.

Your contribution will harmonize with the other skills in your community.

Building on kindness, and doing what you love to do and accepting the perfection of everyone’s choice helps maintain an uplifting attitude and takes care of everyone in the community.

The Love We Bring

The love we bring to our day begins with respect for ourselves and for our ideas.

It begins with creating an atmosphere and environment where we can do the work we love.

It lets us share our good feeling throughout our daily contacts with other people.

It creates the possibility in the minds of others that they, too, can do the work they love.

When we have a good fit with our work, we naturally create an uplifting atmosphere.

Sending love into the atmosphere around us through our work causes us to have a good day.

Walking through a workplace which creates love brings harmony to ourselves and all who come there.

Creating connections through work we love spreads love throughout our community.

Simply gathering materials to create wonderful things and making shipping arrangements adds more love into the atmosphere.

Everything we do to create work we love touches people in an uplifting way.

It can create confusion and arouse animosity in those whose lives are in great contrast when they sense it.

We can observe this phenomenon but not let it distract us.

We have already worked our way though our own negativity and heaviness in order to establish ourselves in work we love.

We have established an unshakable foundation on which to work in doing what we love.

We are secure in our right and our ability to bless ourselves and to uplift others.

We can continue to build on our foundation and to expand our creations in doing the work we love.

Most Precious

What is most precious about us?

Is it our love, our creativity, our ability to listen?

Each person has qualities which make them precious.

They may be obvious, or they may be hidden.

These qualities may show up in youth, or they may develop through a lifetime of experiences.

What is precious is our heart of gold.

It is the core sense that we are valued.

When we feel it, others sense it.

It is something we can sense in other people, even the they do to see it themselves.

This is the purpose of community, of society, of civilization.

We are to recognize what is precious in each of us.

We are to give it room to grow.

We are to encourage it in ourselves and in others.

When we provide space for what is precious, we crowd out self-doubt.

We take up the space so negativity cannot enter.

We can appreciate each other across the entire world spectrum of cultures, languages, careers.

There is always room for the unique expressions of individual creativity.

We are not stuck with a limited amount of resources when we appreciate and recognize what is precious in each us.

We shine, and we fill up that space which defines us with joy, worthiness, and generosity.

We are all most precious.

What is Real

What is real is how you feel.

If you violate how you feel, you are interrupting the flow of who you are.

You know where you belong, what you love to do, and what you want to surround yourself with.

You have all the ingredients to make yourself successful.

You must trust yourself.

You must listen inwardly.

You must take the tiny little steps and do the things you love.

You must gather the materials around you which let you create your beauty.

You must use the skills which allow you to demonstrate your strengths.

Then you will be a success.

Until that happens, you may be someone else’s idea of success, but it will not be your own.

You will never, ever be satisfied until you express your talents, your gifts, your creations.

That is what is real.

That is the life you must strive to live.

Saved

Saved by remaining true.

Do not let the temptation to participate in the world’s economy in the world’s way take you off your path.

You love yourself and your idea more than that.

It is appropriate to devote yourself to the path which identifies you, which makes you unique, which enables you to make a valuable contribution to society and civilization.

No other path will satisfy you, and it will only delay your ability to be fulfilled and happy.

So, deal with the obstacles and challenges and demons.

Deal with the doubts, the convictions, the terrors.

And then, do it anyway.

That is what you are here for.

Take the first tiny step.

The love you have for what you are doing gives you all the resources to do it.

Trust your intuition.

Trust your vision.

Trust.

Be true.

Be saved by remaining true.
