Finding Your Own Footing

You will know when you find the path that fits you.

You will not be able to deviate for very long.

It will pull you back to itself.

You are meant to do some specific thing.

It is part of your individuality.

Once you feel it and the amazing fit it creates between your soul and your mind and your body, you will never want to leave it.

Bit by bit, the other things which occupy your life will drop off and you will find the unique satisfaction of following your own path.

Your footing will be secure.

You will always be guided to the next step.

You will only observe others, but not be drawn into their path, though it may seem very attractive.

You will trust your own.

Even if it seems that you are only taking tiny steps and others are taking great strides, trust yourself.

Take the tiny step that no one else can take for you.

Let the tiny steps lead you through your own life.

Be satisfied and grateful that you have found your own footing.

When you look back, you may be surprised at how far you have come.

Your path is incomparable to any other.

You are uniquely valuable where you are.

Resolving and Fulfilling

When we have experiences which leave us feeling uncompleted, it is necessary to take steps to resolve them.

I desired to learn a particular skill and I took a beginning class on it.

It was really fun, although it took me several steps to catch on, even while others in the class were proceeding.

Later on, I had the opportunity to buy the equipment I needed in order to practice my new skill.

I was not able to do get all the steps to come together even though I remembered most of them.

A group formed for people who were interested in getting together to do the skill.

A couple of people coached me at the monthly get-togethers and I began to catch on once again.

I took a private lesson with another teacher and learned some more.

At one meeting, when I was feeling uncertain and vulnerable, I was unable to get coaching.

My feeling of vulnerability grew and I dropped out of the group.

I still wanted to learn, and about a year later, I found the opportunity.

This was the right time with the right teacher.

I had a couple of hours to practice during the class and my hands caught the rhythm.

I was shown what to do when things broke down.

I was able to have an enjoyable conversation as I continued my practice, and to learn other related skills.

Since the class was given in a public setting, visitors dropped in and out while I practiced and my teacher interacted with the visitors.

I have such a different feeling now that I have achieved success.

I have resolved my frustration and irritation into a confident approach.

I am so grateful to have resolved my uncertainty and to have my desire to learn this skill fulfilled.

Do All the Reassuring Things

When I am ready to take a new step forward, I need to do all the reassuring things I have learned.

I need more support at this time.

I need to remember how much I love me as I am.

I need to reinforce the steps that got me to this latest one.

I read a book of spiritual writings.

I meditate.

I draw.

I love me, love me, love me.

I take a tiny step on a project, and then on another one.

I prepare something healthy to eat.

I sit still and breathe, relaxation therapy.

I remember that I am living in congenial circumstances.

I remember that I have loyal friends.

I respect the steps I have taken already.

I look at how my garden is progressing.

I look at the body of work I have been accomplishing.

I remember where I was in the past.

I express gratitude for my progress.

I think about the next tiny step on work that I love.

When I am so full of happiness, I take the next step.

Loving Fully

Being fulfilled creates such a sense of love.

When we follow through on the ideas which come to us and take them step by step to their completion, there is a sense of fulfillment unlike any other.

Nurturing our ideas, and taking care of them lovingly, boosts them into manifestation.

They express something of our individuality, our uniqueness, our purpose and character.

Each tiny step we take completes some detail.

Each definition of some aspect creates accuracy and effectiveness.

Design, function, color, shape, rhythm, texture, all combine to create beauty and balance.

We do not rush the creation of ideas, but let them grow into fulness and maturity.

We let our ideas reflect our lives by creating opportunities for completeness and fullness.

As we do excellent work, we are fulfilling the highest potential of the project.

As we bring in imaginative and uplifting ideas, we are expanding the reach of the project.

As we consider all viewpoints, we are respecting the value each member of the team brings to the project.

As we survey our launch and circulation, we are preparing room for the idea’s fulfillment and expression.

We are more than a physical presentation

We have a mental and spiritual fullness.

We love taking it to its fullest extent.

Moving Past Futility

I am finding access to new habits which have been blocked for me.

I realize I am moving past the futility which was built into my childhood.

I am able to get simple things done which were always treated as punishment.

I am sensing a kind of order which is deeper than what could be treated as punishment.

My sense of order is being achieved with my own deep sense of identity and my right and freedom to express myself.

As I began cultivating what I love to do, I have given myself permission to be a person who is loved.

My true respect for myself, for going deeply into who I truly am, is giving me a balance and order which I welcome.

I can do my daily and weekly chores without feeling hemmed in by someone else’s definition of me.

I have my own identity, even when it comes to chores.

I have my own rhythm, and I can proceed in a way that makes sense to me to get the job done.

I have the same happy feeling now, doing chores in my gentle way, as I do when I am working on a creative project.

My life has a new balance, where there is a gentle flow and everything gets done.

The great ravages of strength I used to employ are no longer necessary.

I have defeated my adversary.

I am in charge of my own life.

Welcome to Your Self

You know how certain things make sense?

Just every once in a while, there is a fleeting glimpse.

Coming into your Self feels like that, only over and over again until it is a permanent state.

The practice of listening to your inner guidance and following through on your priorities is a coming home to Self.

Making decisions is a different experience altogether from a feeling of being at home with your Self.

It is so much easier to do things from a basis of how it feels to be your Self.

Chores are easier, there is less pressure from outside sources, there is a peace and security within.

Not having to bridge the gap between doing required things and who you are makes life much more congenial.

I no longer have to wait to do things I enjoy because they constitute my entire life and work.

I can work in the chores since they are a series of short breaks when I need to let ideas settle or to give my hands and eyes a rest.

Eating well by eating healthily is a natural part of my day as I learn to garden and preserve food.

I can guard my health, which gives me a greater physical sense of well-being.

Including exercise as I walk around the house in addition to a couple of scheduled classes rounds out another physical activity for health.

Recreational reading is a great way to take breaks and appreciate the work of wonderful writers.

Knowing who I am lets me include all these good activities.

My former sense of worry, anxiety and depression is mostly gone because I know how to value my Self.

How I Fill My thought

I choose to fill my thought with goodness and purity.

These are not popular topics, but they are important to me.

When I taught pre-schoolers, I felt the energy of their purity and innocence.

As I taught them songs to expand their awareness of the world, they gave me feedback through their delight and desire to learn them.

I have kept that feeling of what innocence and goodness feels like.

I like that particular energy.

It is empowering in a very uplifting way.

That is where I like to direct my thought.

When I move into that feeling of delight, I find myself surrounded by simple, wonderful things.

I connect with happy people.

I am guided through my day in an effortless flow.

I seek out positive news.

I am not overcome by the pervasive negativity of the media harassment.

I find moments which connect me to other moments until my day is filled with innocence and purity.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to contribute to innocence and purity through my work of writing songs and music learning materials for young children and their parents.

I am happy to provide uplifting moments for others as well as for myself.
