The most important things for me are peaceful moments.
I became aware of them while teaching pre-school music.
I followed through on an idea to transition the students from their class activities into music by starting each class with three deep breaths. (www.takethreedeepbreaths.blogspot.com)
This gave us a moment to relax and to refocus.
I use the same technique for myself with even just one breath, when I realize I am moving so fast that I am tense.
Valuing my peace has allowed me to expand it for myself.
Now I am living in the country, where I can soak up the peace every day.
I am grateful for this most important thing which I have given myself.
