Do the First Things First

When you do the first things first, the rest follows in priority order.

What are the first things?

They are the simple things.

They almost look inconsequential, but they are not.

The simple things are courtesies, considerations, graciousness.

Respect for all, kindnesses, things forgiven.

What you send out returns to you.

If you do not understand some of the things that are happening to you, the answer always lies within.

What are your most deeply held beliefs?

They may not be what you think they are.

If you look at recurring situations or unresolved ones, these will lead you to consider factors you may not want to see.

Once you can see them, however, you have the key.

Then as you listen more deeply than ever before and cease judging yourself or others, you will hear the answers which will reform your life.

You will be able to take the little steps, and as you become more and more willing to do so, you will find that you have an altogether different view of yourself.

This new view, without the hidden little things, resolves the situation and gets you unstuck from creating recurring minor, or even major, disturbances.

With the first simple things as a conscious continuous practice, you will be able to listen for the next things.

You may be surprised to find they are a continuation of the simple things.
