Thank you for teaching me how to read.

Thank you for teaching me how to write.

Thank you for teaching me how to sing.

I had to teach myself how to dance.

I took all the tools you had given me

and I put them to work.

They dissolved your weaknesses

and took away their penalties.

Your tools in my hands became kindness.

Your tools in my hands became strength.

Your tools in my hands became forgiveness.

Your tools in my hands built me a new world.
