Measurements
Measurements of costs, distances and meaning all have their own metrics.
Which is most valuable?
Sometimes the cost looks disproportionate to the value it provides, but I have found it worth while in terms of meaning.
Some years ago, I signed a lease for a storefront. I was not able to develop the business I had envisioned and it took the help of a lawyer to get out of the lease.
Even though it looked like a costly loss, it was worth it to me. It was the first time I had help to stand up to a bully.
More recently, acting on the best knowledge that I had, I rented a trailer to pick up some greenhouse frames. Even though I had rented the size trailer I was told to, it was too short to do the job.
Thanks to the gracious attitude of my husband, I was told that I was not wrong. He was very consistent about that. My internet research revealed nothing useful immediately, so very quickly we affirmed that there was definitely a solution available to us. While we continued driving, an idea came to him, which we were able to implement immediately.
The value for me which went deeper than the solution to the trailer was that “I was not wrong”. I realized that I had been carrying that sense of “being wrong” since early childhood. Through this experience, even though it cost the rental of the trailer, I was released from that long-term burden.
The environment that I am in while I write this post is one which holds many painful memories for me. Although I am reacting with pronounced panic attacks, I am grateful that I can still feel enough of the new Universe created by the new skills and techniques I have learned to acknowledge significant progress.

Being Treasured
Recently, my husband followed through on a gift for me.
I was very surprised and felt so treasured.
Normally, just living in beautiful surroundings in the country and having time to converse is how I feel consistently treasured.
But this was an extra expression of his generosity and love.
We took a day to drive to get the gift and made an important stop for him on the way back.
Both of us felt treasured by the opportunities to expand our expression through our gifts.
A couple of nights before this happened, when I awoke in the night, I would affirm how loved I am, and how both of us are permeated with the love of God in everything we say or do.
This is a gentle and consistent way of surrounding us with love before we get up or go to do any of the things that are important to us.
We carry a protecting and guiding sense of love with us at all times.
It is how we raised our children through so many challenges.
It is how we contributed the best we could to our work.
It is how we receive and implement the ideas which continue to come to us as we expand our sense of service in the community.
I am very grateful for the ideals and spiritual guidance I was taught and with which I continue to surround myself.
It is what I treasure and it is how I feel treasured.

What We Most Love
I feel most loved, cherished, and adored when I am in tune with the Universe, when the ideas that are flowing to me find their place.
I feel good about how I am connecting with other people through these ideas.
Since the ideas that come to me through deep listening are so pure, it makes me feel good to know that they have meaning for others, too, in their deep purity.
When we listen deeply and connect to the deep Source within us, we are not so battered around by the ideas coming at us through the media and through past events in our lives.
We can feel the presence of the pure animating spirit in our lives.
As we gain the courage and the vocabulary to act from that guidance, our lives take the most wonderful shape.
We fit in, but not in a way that takes us away from who we are.
We fit in, because we are shaping the world around us to a more rarified, uplifted form, one in accord with our inner vision.
We fit in, with the people who are attracted to that vision.
Yes, it does leave other aspects of our past lives out, but it includes what we most love about ourselves.

The Spiritual Dimension and Connection
Love is expressed in a spiritually abundant way to everyone.
We, everyone, have this divine dimension where we connect to everything.
It is not a physical connection, although it does take place on earth.
When a person is saturated through and though with a sense of the Divine, s/he is living in a spiritual dimension.
It is in this spiritual dimension, that s/he connects with everyone and they with her/him.
This is happening right now on earth.
Everyone is wired this way.
An animating desire for good for everyone creates this spiritual dimension and connection.
Just the desire for good for every one creates the openings for good to flow to everyone.
Infinite Source has enough good for everyone.
When we connect with infinite Source, we feel that.
It then flows into our lives in appropriate ways.
We cannot have a physical connection with everyone in the world, but we can have an infinite abundant spiritual one.
When we see the spiritual connection, we are comfortable with everyone.
We enjoy their divine nature.
We see their originality, the unique divine individuality.
We experience their truth, their intelligence, their love, their enthusiasm, their wisdom, their charm, their beautify, their strength, their honesty, their sense of purpose, their poise, their understanding, their compassion.
We find unified approaches to get things done.
The right and most useful resources turn up and are utilized harmoniously.
